(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) The Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team continued their 2012 journey from November 1-3 at the immaculate Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. The ‘PEAK Motor Oil World of Outlaws World Finals’ at the 4/10-mile, Charlotte-area speedplant drew a stout 72 car field. During the two-round World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying session on Thursday night, Josh McGuire timed in 40th fastest for Friday’s event and 34th quickest for Saturday’s showdown.

In the first of two $10,000 to win shows on Friday evening, Josh finished eighth in his loaded heat race and tenth in his B-Main. On Saturday, Josh wound up seventh in his heat race and ninth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Grayson, Kentucky native was unable to transfer into the 50-lappers on both occasions. Complete results from the ‘World Finals’ weekend can be accessed online at www.worldofoutlaws.com.

The #41 team will now turn their focus to the 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky this Saturday, November 10 for the rain-postponed ‘Halloween 50.’ A $3,000 top prize will be on the line this weekend in the unsanctioned event at the newly-reopened facility. Additional information on the 50-lapper can be obtained by accessing the track’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/201Speedway.
