Randolph County RacewayBy Danny Lorton – Moberly, Mo. – Officials of Randolph County Raceway in Moberly Mo. Are pleased to announce their 2013 Track Series Point Fund. A Point fund will be paid out to each class at the Randolph County Raceway banquet at seasons end. Six exciting classes will battle for the Season Championship which starts May 11th and concludes on September 28th. All eligible drivers in the top 10 of each class will receive point fund pay.

Drivers in the ULMA Late models will compete for a point fund with the Track Champion earning $1,500. Drivers in the USRA Modified division will compete for a points fund worth up to $1,500 at season’s end to the track champion plus multiple contingency awards for several drivers in the class.
For USRA Stock Cars there is a top prize of $600 posted for the track champion. USRA B-Mod competitors will see a track points fund that pays the champion $600. The USRA Hobby Stock track champion could earn up to $500. RCR 4cyl Hornet track champion will earn $300.

Drivers in the ULMA Late Models, USRA Modifieds, USRA B-mods, USRA Stock Car, and USRA Hobby Stocks must be registered with the sanctioning body to be eligible for RCR track point fund pay.

New owners David & Janelle Claypoole are excited about their new business adventure and are looking forward to the upcoming season. Many improvements have been made along with the asphalt being removed from the track. The Claypoole’s have hired Danny Lorton as their Race Director for RCR. “ This is a great opportunity that has been given to me and something I have wanted to pursue in my racing career,” stated Danny Lorton. All parties are looking forward to their new tasks at hand and hope to provide a great place for fans and drivers to enjoy this coming racing season.

RCR will host a meet and greet/drivers meeting at the Best Western Conference room in Moberly Mo. on Saturday January 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon. USRA and ULMA representatives will be on site to answer questions about the upcoming race season. Drivers may sign up for memberships along with pad rentals. We look forward to seeing you!
