World of Outlaws Late Model SeriesRochester Mills, PA (January 27, 2013) 2012 Three State Flyers Series Champion Gregg Satterlee of Rochester Mills, PA will open his 2013 season with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series during the annual Georgia/Florida Speedweeks beginning on Friday and Saturday, February 8 and 9 at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, GA.

‘We went to Speedweeks last season and I think it really helped our program when the season started close to home,’ DirtonDirt.com’s 2012 Breakout Driver of the Year said. ‘We did have the finishes we wanted during Speedweeks last year but we had a couple solid runs at Ocala (Bubba Raceway Park). Volusia didn’t treat us well but we still got laps early in the season that helped us when we got home.’

After Screven Motor Speedway’s ‘Winter Freeze’ that features two separate events paying $8,000 to-win and $10,000 to-win, Gregg will head to Ocala, FL and Bubba Raceway Park for three separate World of Outlaws Late Model Series events paying $7,000 to-win on Friday, February 15, $10,000 to-win on Saturday, February 16, and a huge $20,000 to-win on Sunday, February 17.

Satterlee will then make his way to Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL for the UNOH Florida DIRTcar Nationals that spans from Monday, February 18 through Saturday, February 23. The first three nights of action will be held under the UMP DIRTcar banner and will pay $7,000 to the winners. The final three nights will be $10,000 to-win each night and will be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

Gregg and his Gregg Satterlee Racing team do not have a set schedule yet for the 2013 season but plan to run the same type of schedule they ran in 2012 that includes events with many national and regional series events as well as a handful of local events at facilities close to his home in Rochester Mills.
