HIGHLAND, IL (March 11, 2013) Highland Speedway celebrates the season opener on Saturday, March 16, 2013 with the “Lucky 40” This event brings you the second night of racing action for the St. Patty’s Day Double Header weekend at BelleClair and Highland Speedway. This fun filled night of racing action brings you a 40 Lap $1500 to Win UMP Late Model feature, a $750 to Win Steve Schmitt UMP Modified feature, along with the Hamel Coop UMP Street Stocks and Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros.

Win both the Shamrock 40 at Belle-Clair Speedway and the Lucky 40 at Highland Speedway and get a $1000 Bonus. This exciting night will be the first night for the points in the new class at Highland Speedway, the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros. See who will get will start the season off at the top of the points. (The other classes at Highland Speedway will start their point season on Saturday, March 30, 2013.) We are excited about bringing this class to Highland Speedway for the 2013 season. It will be on a rotating schedule and we see that it is a great opportunity to bring awesome racing action to Highland Speedway.
Pits Open at 3:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 5:30 pm, Pill Draw by 6:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:00 pm, Hot Laps at 6:15 pm, Racing Starts at 7:00 pm. Box Seats are $20.00, General Grandstand Admission for this raised purse event is $15.00, kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.)
