21st Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com, Only 2 Months Away!

Wheatland, Missouri – March 22nd, 2013 – In just two short months, the 21st Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com will kick off in a big way. As recently announced, the three-day event has beefed up the package with the addition of the $5,000 to Win Lucas Oil MLRA show on Thursday, May 23rd. In addition to the Late Models on Thursday night, the USRA Modifieds will hit the track for a cool $500 to Win race. Plus, don’t forget the overall purse for this marquee event was increased by $10,000 for 2013!

Memorial Weekend and the Show-Me 100 have become a long standing tradition in Missouri. From it’s original start at West Plain’s Motor Speedway to the Diamond of Dirt Tracks here in Wheatland, Missouri, the event is a fan and driver favorite featuring the nation’s best drivers in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA. Lucas Oil Speedway welcomes guests from all over the United States for the festivities which now include; Camping, Fishing, Miss Show-Me 100 Pageant, Cornhole Tournament, Lake Lucas Activities, Bounce Houses, Kids Rides, a Rock Wall, Friday night concert and much more! “Expanding the event to offer fun for the entire family for the whole weekend is important to us, we wanted to have something for fans of all ages. The campground here is beautiful and we welcome guests to take advantage of the many amenities,” shared Dan Robinson, General Manager.

As mentioned, Thursday night May 23rd will now feature a complete Lucas Oil MLRA show and a full USRA program. Grandstand Gates will open at 5 PM and all seats are General Admission for Thursday Night. Tickets are just $20 for Adults, $15 for Seniors (age 62 & up), Youth (age 6-15) are just $10 and kids age 5 and under are always FREE at
Lucas Oil Speedway.

Friday, May 24th will feature time trials and (6) heat races for the LOLMDS Super Late Models, plus the Crawford Supply Late Model Race of Champions Presented by Traeger Grills and the LOLMDS Chassis Manufacturers Dash. The top (3) finishers in each 20-lap heat race will move on to Saturday night’s main event. The balance of the field in each of the heats will move on to the LOLMDS consolation events on Saturday night. The Pitts Homes USRA A-Modifieds will be featured as the support class and will run their qualifying Heat Races for Saturday’s $1,000 to win, $150 to start Main Event courtesy of RacinDirt.com.

Saturday, May 25th we welcome fans to come early and visit the pit area, check out the Kids Zone, take a swim in Lake Lucas or just relax by the fishing pond. The pit area will be cleared at 3:30 PM so come in early to get up close and personal with the bad boys of dirt late model racing. An Autograph session will be held at 5:00 PM, Hot Laps will start at 7:00 PM. Special Opening Ceremonies featuring the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard begin

promptly at 7:30 PM. Saturday Night’s racing includes the B-Mains for both the Late Models and the Modifieds. Then the newly added Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge, a 20 lap Non-Qualifiers race before the final field of the Nation’s top Late Models hits the track. Following the 100 Lap $30,000 to Win Crown Jewel event, the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will roll out for a fast 20 Lap $1000 to Win Feature presented by RacinDirt.com.
