Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series 2013 TV Schedule, MAVTV American Real now on DIRECTV Channel 219

Lucas Oil Late Model SeriesWAYCROSS, GA (May 22, 2013) – The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is excited to announce the TV package for the 2013 season. This weekend’s 21st Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 – Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com will be the first event that will broadcast on television in 2013. The Show-Me 100 will air on CBS for the third straight year and will also air on NBC Sports, CBS Sports, SPEED and MAVTV American Real. The Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 – Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com will be broadcasted on TV eight times in 2013, beginning in June.

Lucas Oil and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are extremely pleased to announce that MAVTV American Real Network will be available on DIRECTV starting June 10th. MAVTV American Real has been added to the basic programming package for everyone who has DIRECTV. The network will be found on channel 219, right in the middle of all the major sports channels in DIRECTV’s basic channel line-up. With MAVTV added to DIRECTV’s basic programming for everyone to watch, the MAVTV Network will reach over 20.3 million households, beginning in June and will exceed over 30 million households by the end of the year. MAVTV continues to expand daily, while accomplishing its mission of providing many forms of motorsports programming. MAVTV will also bring exciting programming for the entire family, focusing on real Americans living their real American stories, and emphasizing thrilling entertainment from all over America. Please tune into DIRECTV’s channel 219 and watch MAVTV American Real as it continues to provide grass roots motorsports programming for all motorsports fans.

Lucas Oil Production Studios were the honored recipient’s of two Telly Awards for outstanding video and filming of the events filmed at Knoxville Raceway and Portsmouth, OH at the Dirt Track World Championship. With the award winning TV shows and increased viewer ratings, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series TV package will increase to 48 hours of programming on five different major TV networks, including multiple re-airs of each event. Series events to be aired in 2013 include; the May 25th Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 – Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com from Wheatland, MO; June 15th’s Optima Batteries Clash at the Mag – Presented by E3 Spark Plugs from Columbus, MS; July 12th’s General Tire Battle at the Beach – Presented by GEICO from Pontoon Beach, IL; July 13th’s E3 Spark Plugs Diamond Nationals – Presented by General Tire from Wheatland, MO; August 10th’s Sunoco North/South 100 – Presented by Lucas Oil from Florence, KY; August 17th’s COMP Cams Topless 100 – Presented by Sweet Mfg. from Batesville, AR; August 24th’s GEICO Whiskey City 50 – Presented by Hoosier Tire from Lawrenceburg, IN; September 28th’s Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals – Presented by MAVTV from Knoxville, IA; October 5th’s Lucas Oil Dixie Shootout from Woodstock, GA; and the season finale, the RED BUCK Dirt Track World Championship – Presented by Borrowed Blue from Portsmouth, OH.

The award winning Lucas Oil Production Studios, based in Corona, CA will tape each scheduled TV airing using state of the art HD cameras and the popular Helicopter Cam at most TV races. The TV package will also feature Cinema camera technology; in-car cameras and the cut-away car technical segments will all be a part of the TV shows. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series TV ratings have again increased, which will allow the series to expand to the largest amount of TV coverage since the series inception in 2005.

This weekend’s Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 – Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com will be the first “Crown Jewel” event for dirt late model racing this year and a “must see” event on TV as well. The Memorial Day Weekend in May and the Show-Me 100 have become a long standing tradition for fans and racers alike. Activities at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” (Lucas Oil Speedway, Wheatland, MO) during the Show-Me 100 week include: Camping in the sprawling 40 acres of wooded and cleared campsites, Fishing at two lakes on the property, huge Vendor Midway, Miss Show-Me 100 Pageant, Corn-hole Tournament, Activities on the new huge Lake Lucas, Bounce Houses, Kids Rides, Rock Wall, Go-Kart Track, Diamond Bar, Free Music Concerts and the much anticipated $30,000 to win Show-Me 100 feature event on Saturday May 25th.
