Batesville, Arkansas (06/19/13) –Billy Moyer Jr. powered his #21jr Sparks Motorsports/Henderson Motorsports/NXS Power Line/Victory Circle by Moyer/Pro Power Racing Engine to a top ten finish over the weekend in the annual Clash at the Mag at Magnolia Motor Speedway.
It was back to business for Billy Moyer Jr. and Jr. Motorsports with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend as he traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the annual Clash at the Mag.
Forty-six Super Late Models converged on the state-of-the-art oval, and a third place finish in his heat race on Friday evening transferred Billy to the ninth starting spot for Saturday evening’s 100 lap finale. A massive crowd and the Lucas Oil Production Studio cameras were on hand to catch all of the action in the $20,000-to-win feature on Saturday night, and Moyer Jr. raced to as high as the sixth position before settling into an eighth place finish.
“Overall it was a great run for our team as things continue to come together for us,” noted Moyer Jr. “Hopefully we can carry this momentum into the second half of the season.
