NCRAPark City, Kansas – July 4, 2013 – Tony Jackson, Jr. continued his mastery of the dirt track late model scene here in the Midwest as he once again led every lap in winning the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products and MARS DIRTcar late model feature on a special Thursday night, Independence Day 4th of July special at 81 Speedway in Park City.

The feature win is number five on the 2013 MARS DIRTcar tour, second in a row with NCRA and third in as many events.

Jackson started on the pole for the 40 lap feature and got the jump on outside front row starter John Anderson as the green flag fell.

Jackson, aboard his familiar #56 RBL Financial/Lindsay Chevrolet/Club 29 sponsored, Cornett powered Rocket chassis, quickly opened up a ten car length lead over the rest of the field and by lap fifteen and opened up a full straightaway lead over Jesse Stovall, who tried to keep pace the entire race.

In the meantime all eyes were on Ryan Gustin. Gustin, who came into last night’s event at Monett Speedway as the NCRA point leader, had trouble in his heat race causing him to run the “B” feature. Ryan won the twelve lap event and would start the championship event fifteenth and worked his way up through the field and near the end of the race, passed Stovall for the runner up position.

In the end it was again all Jackson as he took home the $2500 paycheck. Gustin came home second followed by Stovall, ninth starting Terry Phillips and Chase Junghans.

The ten lap heat race winners for the 27 car field were won by Junghans, Stovall and Tyler Erb.

The NCRA late model tour will close out their three race weekend tomorrow (Friday) night at the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas.
