Comp Cams Super Dirt SeriesLocust Grove, Arkansas (07/12/13) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models invaded Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) on Friday night for their lone appearance of the 2013 season at the 3/8 mile oval, and it was Jack Sullivan, who picked up his first win of the season with the tour and the seventh of his career.

Sullivan started his night by powering his #1s GRT House Car Super Late Model to the win in the evening’s first heat race from the third starting spot to lock into the New Vision Graphics Pole Position for the 30 lap feature. He was joined on the front row for the $2,000-to-win finale by Wendell Wallace. As the race went green Sullivan jumped to the lead with Wallace, Justin Asplin, and series leader, Ross Camponovo, in tow.
Sullivan would go on to lead all 30 laps of the caution free event to score the win. He was followed across the finish line by Wendell Wallace, Justin Asplin, Kyle Beard, and Jon Kirby.

The Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger $100 bonus was claimed by Ashley Newman, who passed five cars on his way to an 11th place finish, while Clay Fisher was awarded the Quarter Master Hard Luck Award, when his engine expired in hot laps.

Justin Asplin started heat race action with a win in GRT Race Cars Heat Race #1 with Ross Camponovo winning the NEA Super Gas Heat Race #2. Allen Manufacturing Heat Race #3 was topped by Jack Sullivan.
