RED BUCK and Borrowed Blue Sponsor the 33rd Annual Dirt Track World Championship

Dirt Track World Championship - DTWCWAYCROSS, GA (October 15, 2013) – The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and famed promoter Carl Short are pleased to have RED BUCK Entertainment as the title sponsor of the 33rd Annual RED BUCK Dirt Track World Championship Presented by Borrowed Blue. This crown jewel event will once again take place at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on October 17th, 18th and 19th. The three day event is the final event for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series 2013 season and will conclude with the 100-lap $50,000 to win feature event on Saturday night October 19th.

RED BUCK Entertainment returns for the second straight year as the title sponsor of the 33rd Annual Dirt Track World Championship. RED BUCK a division of the Tantus Tobacco Company located in Russell Springs, KY has been a great partner of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for many years, using the dirt late model market and the Series as a platform to broaden their brand. By partnering with the series and the Dirt Track World Championship event, RED BUCK has seized the opportunity to be associated with one of the biggest crown jewel dirt late model events in the country and promote their brand all across the country.

RED BUCK Entertainment is also the official Fast Time Sponsor of the LOLMDS and gives out a cash award to the driver that sets Fast Time in qualifying at a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event. RED BUCK’s title sponsorship of the DTWC last year was also an opportunity to introduce a new country/rock band named “Borrowed Blue”. As the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s DTWC, Borrowed Blue is an up and coming band from Kentucky, sponsored by RED BUCK Entertainment and released their new album (Borrowed Blue) and their first music video (Back That Truck Up) both this year. Borrowed Blue has gained huge popularity since their LIVE concert at last year’s DTWC and increased their fan base nation-wide with their association with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and RED BUCK Entertainment. Activities for the 33rd Annual RED BUCK Dirt Track World Championship – Presented by Borrowed Blue will get underway on Thursday, October 17th with Modified Qualifying, Heat Races and Consolation races. On Friday, October 18th the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will take to the track for Hot-Laps, RED BUCK Time Trials and Heat Races. Then on Saturday, October 19th the schedule will include the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series B-Mains, the $3,000 to win Modified Feature, the $50,000 to win/$2,000 to start DTWC 100-lap feature event and the $3,000 to win Jim Dunn Memorial Non-Qualifiers race.
