(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) Jason Riggs and the Riggs Motorsports team traveled north to the Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois on October 11-12 for the two-day ‘ROCKtoberfest IV’ program. On Friday night, Jason won his heat race, started ninth in the $1,000 to win main event, and later blasted past five competitors en route to a fourth place performance behind only winner Mike Spatola, Kevin Weaver, and Steve Thorsten. In Saturday’s $1,200 to win weekend finale, Jason ran second in his heat race prior to advancing to another fourth place effort in the A-Main to finish behind only victor Kevin Weaver, Mike Spatola, and Jay Morris. On the heels of those strong finishes, the #81jr team will trek south to the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday evening, October 19. A weekly UMP DIRTcar Series program will be held this Saturday at the Volunteer State speedplant and a $1,000 top prize will be on the line.
