Western World Saturday Lineups Set!

USACLonnie Wheatley, PEORIA, Ariz. (November 16, 2013) – Two full nights of intense Sprint Car and Midget competition atop the 1/3-mile Canyon Speedway Park clay oval have set the stage for Saturday night’s 46th Annual Sands Chevrolet Western World Championships presented by Racers Advantage Store finale.

Eight drivers have locked into both the USAC Southwest vs. USAC West Coast Sprint Car and Honda USAC National Midget feature events with the balance of the WWC feature events to be determined in Saturday’s preliminary action that goes green at 7:00 p.m.

With several drivers pulling double-duty, the trio of Brady Bacon, Dave Darland and Bryan Clauson have already locked into both main events.

USAC Southwest vs. USAC West Coast Sprint Cars:

Eight drivers have locked into Saturday night’s Dash that will set the starting lineup for the first four rows including preliminary winners R.J. Johnson and Bryan Clauson. The balance of the field will race through a “C” Main and twin “B” Mains based on total points from heat, qualifying race and feature action on Thursday and Friday night.

Honda USAC National Midgets:

With the full field of Midgets racing through a full card of qualifying, heat races and features on both Thursday and Friday, the top eight point earners have locked into Saturday night’s Dash that will set the feature lineup for the initial four rows.

The balance of the field will race through qualifying races that will be lined straight-up according to combined points over both nights and then a “B” Main.

Locked-in drivers include preliminary night winners Christopher Bell and Darren Hagen.
