NDRL - National Dirt Racing League(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) had plans of entering a pair of $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tilts on April 4-5 in the states of Mississippi and Louisiana. Unfortunately, the weekend got cut in half, as Mother Nature scored the win on Friday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, Mississippi. On Saturday, the #21 team rolled through the pit gate at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana for the first-ever visit by the LOLMDS.

Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Billy Moyer clicked off the third fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session prior to scoring the heat race victory over Jason Papich, Jimmy Owens, and Jared Landers. After starting the 50-lap main event from the outside of the third row, Billy had his sights set on his fifth win of 2014. The popular driver known as “Mr. Smooth” unfortunately suffered steering problems during the feature and retired in the twenty-fifth position. Complete results from Ark-La-Tex Speedway can be accessed online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Billy and his #21 BMR team will now make the long journey to the states of Pennsylvania and Virginia for a huge tripleheader with the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL). Things will kick-off on Thursday, April 10 at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania, as the annual ‘PENNational’ will pay $10,000 to the winner. The Mid-Atlantic swing will then take Billy to Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Virginia on Friday, April 11 for another $10,000 to win NDRL battle. The triple shot of racing action is then set to conclude on Saturday, April 12 with the ‘Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth,’ which boasts a hefty $20,000 payday at the pristine Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia.
