Rick Eckert has been selected to pilot the Rocket Chassis house car as Brandon Sheppard has decided to move back home to Illinois to be with his newborn son. Sheppard was tasked to be the driver after Josh Richards announced at the start of the season that he would have to step out of the car for medical issues. Sheppard had a great start to the 2014 season and was sitting second in the World of Outlaw Late Model Series point standings.
Sheppard will be back behind the wheel of his family owned Rocket Chassis cars and racing in the Midwest. Rocket Chassis will still be fully behind Sheppard and support him while he races his family owned machine.
Brandon get sick of the in and out crap? He should of been in it full time! Josh sucks ass!!!
Should of added, Rick… Really…. Why??? Took most of these guys for ever to get where BShepp did in a 1/5th the time. Come on…

Read the article Ryan! Brandon didn’t want to run the car cuz he wanted to be with his family! Josh Richards has won the woo championship quite a few times so he must not suck too bad!
All about $$$$$ I suspect? Eckert had to have put up dough to get the ride. Got to be more to it than article says.
