(Warrensburg, MO) Just days removed from last Saturday’s highly successful curtain-raiser, CMS is gearing up to host event number two this weekend, featuring USRA ‘Mighty’ Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Modifieds, and Pure Stocks, plus guest class, ULMA Late Models for Pepsi night at the races!
Last weekend, the packed grandstands witnessed former champion Terry Schultz claim the USRA Modified win while Brett Wood captured the Street Stock main event. Chris Cain drove to the win in the B-Modifieds while Darrin Christy became the first-ever CMS Pure Stock feature winner.
This week marks the return of the ULMA Late Models for their first of six CMS appearances this year. Several former drivers from the area have expressed their intention to race this week with ULMA including former track champions Jon Binning and Kevin Coyne in addition to multiple-time late model track feature winner Steve Clancy. General admission for adults $12, military w/I.D. and senior citizens 65 years and up $10, kids ages six to twelve $5, children $5 and under free.
