Denny Woodworth, David Wietholder, Abe Huls, Brad Holtmeyer and Kimberly Abbott all took feature event wins at Quincy Raceways Father’s Day Racing during Ursa Farmers Coop Night at the Races.

Denny Woodworth took the lead at the drop of the Green Flag in the Kick Start UMP Super Late Model feature event and kept Mark Burgtorf at bay for the first 20 laps until Burgtorf slipped up in turn four letting Ricky Frankel past for the second spot. Frankel then put the pressure on Woodworth during the final laps but had to hold back Burgtorf who had recovered to challenge for the second spot again. Woodworth scored the checkered flag first with Frankel hold off Burgtorf by a fender for second. Billy Genenbacher and Jamie Wilson rounded out the top five.

Jarod Schlipman led the first sixteen circuits of the Miller Lite UMP Modified feature event but it was not going to be his night as Steven DeLonjay powered his way past on lap seventeen to take over the lead. Schlipman’s engine went up in smoke on the eighteenth circuit bringing out a caution flag setting up a green white checkered finish. DeLonjay fell victim to some very good aggressive driving as David Wietholder powered past on the high side to take the lead on lap nineteen and held DeLonjay in the second spot as the checkered flag flew. Keith Pratt, Russ Coultas and Shane Lewis rounded out the top five.

The Powder Coat Plus IMCA Stock Cars were racing for a Five Hundred Dollars to win feature event payoff and they  put on a great show to get to the checkered flag. Abe Huls worked his way around Jim Lynch on the tenth circuit and held off Brandon Savage to take the big paycheck. Terry Houston grabbed third with Jake Powers in fourth and  Jerry Jansen in fifth.

Brad Holtmeyer too home the checkered flag in the Summy Tire and Auto Center IMCA Northern SportMod division feature event. Tony Dunker grabbed the second spot followed by Bobby Anders Jr. in third, Joey Gower in fourth and Patrick Phillips in fifth. Holtmeyer and Anders were the heat race winners.

Kimberly Abbot took the lead from Bryce Baker on the eighth lap of the IMCA Sport Compact feature event and held off Austin Bercerra to take the her feature event win. Cliff Spencer claimed third followed by Darin Weisinger Jr. in fourth and Austin McClean in fifth.

The next event at Quincy Raceways is the Annual visit for the UMP Summer Nationals for the Super Late Models on Thursday June 19. The Hell Tour event will feature a $5000 to Win Main Event as the UMP Modifieds will participate in the Summit Racing Equipment Nationals featuring a $1000 to Win main event.
