NDRL - National Dirt Racing LeaguePhoenix, Arizona (June 19, 2014) Officials of the National Dirt Racing League and the Batesville Motor Speedway announced today that the Bad Boy 98 event slated for late June has been postponed. The goal is to grow the Bad Boy 98 into a very special event in years to come. An event that will provide an awesome experience for fans and provide a world class event to showcase Bad Boy Mowers like they deserve and nothing less. After conversations between BMS Promoter Mooney Starr and NDRL owner John Kennedy about events which were now conflicting, the conclusion was to postpone the current weekend and look for dates which make more sense and better serves the interests of fans and racers.

“Right now when you look around at schedules there is just too much going on that would take away from the Bad Boy. We want this to be a successful event and we just felt we needed to do something different. We really hate to make a change like this but after talking with Mooney I came to realize that it made the most sense for everyone involved to look at different dates going forward to grow the event. Our hope is to always do what is best for our drivers and fans. Mooney is one of the most successful promoters in the mid-south and he obviously understands his market better than anyone else. So we will look forward to working toward the future and growing with Batesville and the Bad Boy 98 event.” added NDRL Owner John Kennedy.

Batesville Motor Speedway will be refunding all ticket money that were purchased through Batesville Motor Speedway, Please contact NDRL for any tickets that were purchased through their organization.

With the Bad Boy 98 postponement the next event on the NDRL 2014 schedule will be a pair of events at the Atomic Speedway on Waverly, Ohio. July 25th will see the NDRL competitors vying for $5,000 to win and July 26ththe drivers set after a $15,000 to win purse. For ticket info visit www.atomicspeedway.net or call (740) 703-9749.
