NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader to race in USCS Fall Nationals at Riverside Int. Speedway (AR) on Friday10/31 and Saturday 11/01

USCS OWM logo KN on whiteAtlanta, GA – 10/26/14 – NASCAR veteran driver, frequent TV motorsports commentator and legendary dirt track racer, Ken Schrader will travel from his racing shop in Concord, North Caolina to compete in the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modified portion of the 6th annual USCS Fall Nationals presented by K&N at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas this coming weekend on Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November1st. Schrader will wheel his Federated Auto Parts sponsored #9 open wheel modified racer on both nights against some of the best Outlaw Modified racers in the Mid South all trying to be first to the www.rockauto.com USCS victory lane for a $1000 top prize each night.

This will only be Schrader’s second ever appearance at the famed black gumbo clay oval located just across the Mississippi River from Memphis, Tennessee in his #9 open wheel modified race car. He previously competed during the Friday portion of the 2010 USCS Fall Nationals when he got a top three finish. The following night’s portion of the 2010 event was rained out.

Schrader competed in four 2014 events previously with for the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modified Series and was the early season point’s leader. He has two USCS Modified wins on the season coming at Magnolia Motor Speedway and Tennessee National Raceway. has nine wins on the season with tow of those in the USCS.

Schrader has 970 starts in NASCAR’s top three divisions including 763 Sprint Cup and formerly Winston Cup division semi-retired from the Sprint Cup Series at the end of 2013, but has race selected ARCA events and has successfully concentrated on his dirt track racing during the 2014.

Racing action kicks off at 7:30pm on Friday night with a full racing program in the K&N Filterrs USCS Outlaw Modifieds where Schrader will compete. The racing card on Friday also includes a full racing card for the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints. Also on Friday’s racing card will be the preliminary qualifying events for United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars and the Late Model and Street Stock Division finals on Saturday night at 6:00pm.
On Saturday night the schedule \includes another full slate of competition in the K&N USCS Outlaw Modifieds and the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 sprint cars plus the finals in the USCS sprint car, Late Models and Street Stock divisions. The USCS Outlaw Thunder tour sprint car drivers will contest a 51 lap (longest of the season) , K&N “Fabulous 51” sprint car finale that pays a whooping $5100 to the winner on Saturday.
