BAD_BOY_WoO_WF_Logo(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb Racing ventured to the historic East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama on November 1-2 for the 40th edition of the ‘National 100.’ A $20,000 top prize was on the line in the unsanctioned mega-event, which attracted 33 competitors to EAMS. On Saturday night, Dennis Erb, Jr. knocked down the second fastest lap overall during the qualifying session prior to running second in heat race action behind only prelim victor Dale McDowell.

After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the 100-lap headliner on Sunday evening, Dennis was up to fifth late in the distance before eventually finishing right where he started… in the sixth position. The Carpentersville, Illinois star trailed only winner Jonathan Davenport, Chris Madden, Scott Bloomquist, Don O’Neal, and Rick Eckert to the checkered flag. Complete results from EAMS can be obtained online by clicking on www.eamsdirt.com.

Following the solid top ten performance in the ‘National 100,’ Dennis will now set his sights towards the annual running of the ‘World of Outlaws World Finals’ at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina on November 6-8. Two rounds of qualifying will be held at the 4/10-mile speedplant on Thursday night, which will set the stage for both Friday and Saturday’s programs. Each evening, a full show consisting of heat races, consolation events, and a 50-lap A-Main will thrill the standing-room-only crowd. The final two events on the World of Outlaws Late Model Series calendar will each pay $12,000 to the victor.
