Springfield RacewaySpringfield, Mo.- Officials at the “Quick-Quarter” of the Springfield Raceway have announced a change for the popular upcoming Liquid Nitro B Mod Nationals.

“We first looked at adding Wed. Night April 8th as a qualifying night, but have decided to run the same format as last season in which Wed. night will be an open practice for any class of cars.” Quoted Co-Owner Jerry Hoffman. This event features a 66 lap feature paying $6600 to win and $1300 to start the feature in this Pre-Entry only event.

With Wed. now being an open practice night, it gives everyone a chance to tune-up for Thursday Night’s opening night of qualifying. 12 heats races in which the winner advances to the Qualifying nightly feature. The top 2 from each B feature will have the field battle for a top 5 finish to lock-in for Saturday night on the inside rows. Drivers will redraw and qualifying Friday night in the same format for the outside rows. Getting a good finish outside the top 5 will be important as that helps set the line-ups for 1 of 6 B features on Saturday night.
