Start Times Moved Up for Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Opener at Clarksville Speedway March 7

American-Modified-SeriesGlasgow, KY-March 2, 2015- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will kick off the 2015 racing season as part of the 11th Annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic on Saturday March 7 at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, TN.  It will be the first of two appearances in 2015 at the speedy ¼ mile high-banked red clay oval, with the 30 lap A-Main event paying $1,500 to the winner and $200 to start.

Because of the colder temperatures predicted for the weekend’s activities, the Clarksville Speedway program scheduled for Friday evening March 6 has been shifted to Sunday afternoon March 8.  The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event scheduled for Saturday March 7 is still scheduled at this time, but with earlier start times.  Gates will open at Noon on Saturday March 7, with practice set to begin at 3:00 p.m.  All times listed are Central Time.

This will be the second-ever visit for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series to Clarksville Speedway, with Lucas Lee of Paris, TN winning the tour’s first-ever event at the track by claiming the win in this event in 2014, which saw the A-Main delayed one week due to rain.

On Saturday March 7, the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will be in competition at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, TN.  The event will feature the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start 11th Annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic A-Main contest.  Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Clarksville Speedway on Saturday March 7 will be the MARS/UMP sanctioned Super Late Models, racing for $5,000 to win and the UMP Pro (Crate) Late Models racing for $1,000 to win, along with the track’s Mini Sprint, Pure Street, and Pure Mini divisions.

Activities for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event at Clarksville Speedway on Saturday March 7 will now see the pit area and general admission area open at Noon, with practice set to begin at 3:00 p.m., followed immediately by time trials and green flag racing.  All times listed are Central Time. Ticket prices for the event at Clarksville Speedway on Saturday March 7 in the general admission area will be $25 for adults, children ages 6 to 10 will be $5, and children ages 5 and under are free, while a pit pass will be $40.
