Highland, IL – Highland Speedway will kick off the 2015 racing season this Saturday, March 21st. The 1/4 mile semi banked dirt oval’s season opener will see the UMP DIRTcar Late Models, UMP DIRTcar Modifieds, UMP DIRTcar SportMods and Micros competing.
Pits will open at 4pm and grandstands open at 5:30pm this Saturday and the racing starting at 6:45pm. General admission is $12 with students at 13-17 with student ID only $6. Kids 12 and under are FREE in the grandstands. The weather looks awesome for this Saturday in Highland with temperatures forecast to be in the low 70’s.
Sam’s Pizza & Pub sponsors a night of giveaways including hot pizza, gift cards and shirts. You must buy a 50/50 ticket to participate in the giveaway. Sign up for JR Fan Club – ages up to 12 years.
