ULMA Late Models join the regular weekly race program for the first of six appearances this season at Central Missouri Speedway. This weekend’s race marks the 92nd ULMA-sanctioned event at the speedway. In last year’s six events at the track, three winners emerged including defending Champion Jon Binning from Warrensburg, also a two-time late model champion at CMS. Jason Bodenhamer claimed a pair of ULMA wins last season while southern-Missouri based Dwight Niehoff of Neosho also posted a CMS win.

Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. followed grandstand admissions beginning at 5. Driver pill draw closes at 6:15, drivers meeting begins at 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30. All pit passes are $30. General admission is $12 for adults, $10 for military w/I.D. and Senior Citizens 65 years and older, $5 for kids ages 6 to 12, and for children five and under, admission is free. All pit passes are $30. For additional information visit www.centralmissourispeedway.com or on race day call the track phone line at 660-747-2166.

CMS Officials are asking drivers and fans to take note of the new Pill Draw close time, which is now at 6:15 sharp. If drivers are not officially signed in prior to this time they will not earn points for advancing through the field and will earn finishing points only. Race lineups will now post at 6:30.

USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Lightning Sprints, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks make up the regular weekly race schedule at CMS. Last weekend’s season opener saw Darron Fuqua from Mayetta, Kansas capture the USRA modified feature win. Jason Ryun took the Pure Stock main, former track champion Jacob Ebert claimed the B-Mod win, Brett Wood flew the checkers in Street Stock action while Beau Heavelow claimed the Lightning Sprint win.
