Weekly Racing Series Spring Opener Presented by FOX 22 this Saturday, April 18th!

Lucas Oil SpeedwayWHEATLAND, MO (April 15th, 2015) – KQFX FOX 22 Presents the 2015 Lucas Oil Speedway Budweiser Weekly Racing Series Season Opener this Saturday, April 18th plus don’t miss a special Kid’s Night as the first 200 kids get a FREE Racing Diecast Car courtesy of Ron’s Racing Collectibles.

“Last weekend’s MLRA Spring Nationals was a rousing success as well over 100 cars jammed the pits and a great crowd was on hand both nights and we are expecting more of the same this Saturday as we begin our highly touted weekly racing series action.” commented Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson

Classes in action include the ALPS Food Store ULMA Late Models, the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, the Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stocks, and the Tri-Lakes RV USRA B-Mods.

The ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models will be running a special 25-lap $1,000 to win main event courtesy of ALPS Food Store in Pittsburg, Missouri as the featured class of the evening.

In support class action last weekend, Logan Martin and Jeff Cutshaw took top honors in the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds with Martin scoring the Friday night win and Cutshaw dominating the field to claim Saturday’s top prize.

In Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stock action, Johnny Coats stormed to the win on Friday while Camdenton’s Kenny Carroll survived a feverish battle with 2014 Track Champion David Hendrix to score the win.
