American-Modified-SeriesCalvert City, KY-April 18, 2015- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series made its first ever visit to Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, KY on Saturday evening and the checkered flag waved, Brian Shaw of Robinson, IL would take the victory and $4,000 payday in a caution filled event. Brian Shaw would take the lead at the start and would never lose the top spot, even with the numerous restarts due to an abundance of caution flags and one red flag for a flip by Brent Glastetter. Shaw would lead the entire way to claim the $4,000 payday. Josh Harris would take runner-up honors, with Trent Young starting 11th and finishing in the third position to complete the podium finishers. Tyler Nicely and polesitter Cory Daugherty would complete the top five.

The 35 lap, $4,000 to win event would be slowed by thirteen caution periods, with one of those resulting in a red flag.

Summit Racing Equipment heat one went to Cory Daugherty, while Bart Richardson scored the win in Wiles Driveshafts heat two.
