Terre Haute Action TrackSunday Event Will Feature Sprints & Modifieds

The 2015-racing season is just about to take another green flag at the historic Terre Haute Action Track in Terre Haute, IN. The first of six scheduled races will be this Sunday, April 26 and will feature the MSCS/KISS Sprints and the UMP Modifieds.

Former NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity weekly competitor Kenny Wallace will be racing his UNOH/Federated #36 UMP Modified this coming Sunday as part of the show. Wallace, a fan favorite as proved by his three most popular driver awards from the NASCAR Busch Series, will be back in the seat of an XFinity car next weekend at Talladega where he will fill in for his brother, Mike.

The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series will be concluding a busy April as they compete in the Spring Fling 30 lap A-Main. MSCS should have a talented field of drivers with very competitive rides. Defending KISS series champion, Shane Cottle, Terre Haute Silver Crown winner Shane Cockrum, and current top point contenders for MSCS Chase Stockon, Robert Ballou, and Jon Stanbrough are just a few of the top competitors that will pace the 1/2-mile on Sunday.

The Sunday, April 26 opener at Terre Haute will see pit gates open at 3:00, grandstands at 4:00, hotlaps at 5:00, and racing will take the green at 6:30. Grandstand admission is $20, infield admission is $15, and kids 10 and under are free.
