Lucas Oil SpeedwayWHEATLAND, MO (July 8th, 2015) – The 9th Annual CMH Diamond Nationals along with the final day of the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com takes place this Saturday & Sunday, July 11th & 12th at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri.

“The weather for this weekend looks to be near perfect with full sunshine in the forecast for both days with very mild evening temperatures in the 70’s & 80’s. This should turn out to be one of the biggest weekends of the year in Late Model racing as the best drivers in the business run for $10,000 to win on Saturday and a whopping $30,000 to win on Sunday. It is the one weekend you definitely won’t want to miss.” stated Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson.

First up on Saturday, the 9th Annual CMH Diamond Nationals features the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA as the country’s top dirt late model drivers attempt to claim the $10,000 winner’s share of the purse and the prestigious Diamond Ring that goes with it. Jimmy Owens held off a hard charging Scott Bloomquist to take home the check and the ring in the 2014 edition of this huge event.

Kenny’s Tile Racing has stepped up to award Saturday night’s Diamond Nationals winner an additional $500. For more info on Kenny’s Tile Racing, search “Kenny’s Tile Racing” on Facebook.

Other top drivers expected to be in attendance include Don O’Neal, Jared Landers, Eddie Carrier Jr., Tony Jackson Jr., Terry Phillips, Chad Simpson, Earl Pearson Jr., Steve Francis, Jonathan Davenport, Jesse Stovall and many more of the top dirt late model drivers in the country!

The Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds run in support of the Late Models on Saturday gunning for a top prize of $750 to win courtesy of Clearlight Inn in Hermitage, Missouri. The Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety also presents Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety Night. They will be checking seat belts and giving away t-shirts while supplies last.

Bring the entire family out this weekend as we invite you to come early and visit the pit area to meet your favorite drivers. The Party Station Kids Zone and the Frog’s Sign Jr. Fan Club will have tons of inflatables, games and give-a-ways for the Jr. race fans in your family.
