Pontoon Beach, IL (July 14th, 2015) – It is looking like Mother Nature will cooperate this week and Tri-City Speedway will return to racing action this Friday, July 17th with the Russ Wallace Memorial. A full card of racing action is planned including UMP DIRTcar Super Late Models, UMP DIRTcar Modifieds, B-Modifieds, UMP DIRTcar Factory Stocks & UMP DIRTcar Sport Compacts.
Tri-City Speedway will pay tribute to the legendary Russ Wallace who was a mainstay at Tri-City Speedway during his racing career. Kenny Wallace will be on hand competing in the UMP DIRTcar Modified division.
Pits open at 5pm and grandstands open at 5:30pm with racing at 7:15pm. Grandstand admission is only $12 with kids 12 years old and younger free in the grandstands. Tri-City Speedway is located just south of I-270 on State Hwy 203 in Pontoon Beach, IL.
