Officials from Track Enterprises in Macon, IL have announced the details on the Lincoln Speedway event coming up on Friday, August 21. Four divisions are planned to help kick off a huge racing weekend in central Illinois with races at the State Fair on Saturday and Sunday in addition to Macon Speedway’s Saturday night program.

The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and Speedway Motors Micros will be on the card in addition to the Midwest Big Ten Pro Late Models and UMP Modifieds. The Pro Late Models were added to the card to make up for some of the rainouts that have occurred on the Big Ten schedule this season.

The August 21 show will mark the only appearance for POWRi for Lincoln Speedway during the 2015-season. Strong fields of cars are expected with a double header weekend, as Macon Speedway hosts POWRi on Saturday. The events are part of State Fair weekend where USAC Silver Crown competes on Saturday afternoon and ARCA races Sunday in Springfield. Sportsman are on the card for both days.

“Race fans mark this weekend down on their schedule every year,” stated Track Enterprises Promoter Bob Sargent. Sargent added, “The POWRi shows at Lincoln and Macon are really great toppers to the State Fair events in Springfield. If you like great racing, Central Illinois should be your destination.”

Pits will open at Lincoln at 3:00, grandstands at 5:00, hotlaps at 6:00, and racing will begin at 7:00. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults and free for kids 11 and under.
