Jamie Wilson, Michael Long, Jim Lynch, Joey Gower and Kimberly Abbott all took feature event wins at Quincy Raceways on Sunday August 2 during Titan Wheel and Tire Mid Season Championships. Quincy Raceways was finally able to complete a regular race night for only the second time in over two months as Mother Nature has had her way with the Broadway Bullring.

Mark Burgtorf jumped into the early lead of the KickStart UMP Super Late Model main event and looked to be well on his way to victory but Jamie Wilson kept inching closer and closer and took over the top spot on the nineth circuit. Burgtorf and Wilson battled side by side for the next ten laps with Wilson pulling away over the remaining five laps to lay claim to his second feature win of the  season. Burgtorf settled for second followed by Jim Moon in third, Justin Reed in fourth and Denny Woodworth in fifth. Reed and Burgtorf were the heat race winners. Burgtorf now holds a 62 point margin over

Michael Long took the lead of the Miller Lite Ump Modified main event on the fourth lap and held off all challengers to take his fifth feature win of the year. David Wietholder challenged Long over the final laps but had to settle for second followed by Ricky Frankel in third, Shawn Deering in fourth and Jared Schlipman in fifth. Long and Deering were the heat race winners. Wietholder hold a 21 point margin over Long in the track point standings.

Jim Lynch worked his way to the front of the Powder Coat Plus IMCA Stock Car main event on the nineth lap and held off Beau Taylor for the final nine laps to claim the feature event win and take over the points lead as Abe Huls was absent this week as he was on vacation. Michael Long scored third followed by Jake Powers in fourth and Andrew Hustead in fifth. Beau Taylor took the heat race win. Lynch now holds a seven point margin over Taylor in the points battle.

Joey Gower took over the lead of the Summy Tire and Auto Center IMCA Northern SportMod main event on the fifth lap and held off a beve of challengers to claim his third feature win of the season

Bobby Six scored the second spot followed by Brandon Lennox in third, Austen Bercerra in fourth and Tanner Klingele in fifth. Lennox, Six and Klingele were the heat rack winners. Klingele now has a five point margin over Gower in the chase to the track champions ship.

Kimberley Abbott and Brandon Lambert put on quite as show as the two battled for the feature event win in the IMCA Sport Compact main event. Abbott made the right move at the right time as she took over the lead on the final lap to take the win with Lambert in second, Lain VanZandt in third, John Girdley in fourth and Trent Orwig in fifth. Abbott also claimed the heat race win and now holds a fourteen point lead over Lambert in the chase to the point title.
