kentucky-lake-motor-speedway  CALVERT CITY, Kentucky – Bryce Jewell of Madisonville, Kentucky picked up his third win of the year in the Open Wheel Modified division at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway. Jewell was able to hold off Josh Harris by a 1.258 second split to take home the checkered flag. Rounding out the top five were Jeff Parks, Keith McKinney and Hunt Gossum.

Tim Brown parked in victory lane for the fifth time this season in the Super Late Model feature. Brown was able to stay in front of Jarryd Holshouser who was gaining steadily. Brad Mitchell and Butch Kruckeberg placed third and fourth, respectively.

Calvert City’s Troy English got his Crate Late Model out front early and never looked back, picking up his third win of the season. Tait Davenport, who missed several weeks at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway, returned Saturday night and picked up a second place finish. Credence Mott, Kevin Poole and Austin Flint rounded out the top five.

A short field in the Pure Stock division lead to the decision to run them with the Stock Car division Saturday Night. Owensboro’s Chad Boone picked up the victory in the combination feature. The win brings Boone’s tally to five for the 2015 season. Tya Cunningham, Mike Neighbors and Mike Watson finished second through fifth, respectively.
