ROSSBURG, Ohio (September 12, 2015) – For the second time this week, Brandon Sheppard and Billy Moyer won A-Features as part of the 45th World 100 weekend at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Moyer, from Batesville, Arkansas, won Sunday’s Baltes Classic A-Feature and took the checkered flag in Saturday’s afternoon program that was rescheduled from Friday due to rain.

Sheppard won the second A-Feature after scoring a victory on the opening night of the World 100 on Thursday. Each driver won $5,000.

Moyer held off the hard-charging Mike Marlar, who started eighth, trading slide-jobs throughout the event. Marlar, from Winfield, Tenneessee, made a run at him coming out of turn four, but Moyer scored the win.

“I knew he was elbows up and on the gas,” Moyer said. “We bent the nose with 10 to go and didn’t have nearly the same car after that. I was just hanging on and it wouldn’t turn. I was just playing with the pedals trying to get it to turn.”

The all-time World 100 win leader with six wins in The Biggest Dirt Race In The World™, Moyer has also won each time he has been victorious in the previous Sunday night event.

Marlar was second, while Shannon Babb, Don O’Neal and 2015 Dream winner Jonathan Davenport rounded out the top-five. O’Neal started 12th, while Davenport started 20th.

Sheppard of New Berlin, Illinois, started second but took the lead early and had control of the race until a late restart with two laps remaining. Matt Westfall, from Pleasant Hill, Ohio, challenged him, but Sheppard went high on the track and scored his second victory this week.

“This car is amazing right now,” Sheppard said. “I’ve got a lot of support on this car. I knew the top was going to be ok on that last restart and I took it and it worked.”

Westfall was second, while Darrell Lanigan, Steve Francis and Jared Landers rounded out the top-five.

After the races were complete, Eldora officials brought up top qualifier Chris Ferguson to spin the “Wheel of MisFortune.” His spin landed on five.

Tonight, there will be the traditional six heat races of 15 laps in distance. Pre-invert lineups established by average finish from preliminary nights in staggered order with ties broken by

1) Best finish from Thursday or Friday races
2) Fastest qualifying time
3) Postmark of entry blank

The inversion will be five per the Wheel of Misfortune. Cars finishing first, second and third in the heat races advance to the World 100. Cars finishing fourth through 11th advance to a B-Feature, in order of finishing position.

Heats one, two and three will determine the first B-Feature and heats four, five and six will determine the second B-Feature. There will be two B-Features of 20 laps in distance. Cars finishing first through fifth will advance to the World 100. The remaining cars may choose to restart in their current running order for a B-Scramble of five laps in distance.

The two fastest qualifiers not advancing through the Heat Races will start 19th and 20th in the World 100 (if they finished in a B-Feature qualifying position, they will be removed and the finish of that Heat Race adjusted accordingly).

The World 100 will be 100 laps in distance, starting 30 cars.

Fans who can’t make it to Eldora in person this weekend can still watch all the action live by purchasing the live Pay-Per-View video broadcast of all three nights of action that is available at http://live.eldoraspeedway.com
