Pevely, MO (February 5th, 2016) Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, MO is ready for another exciting season of racing in 2016. The racing season will kick off on Saturday, March 19th with a Test & Tune session from noon to 4pm which will be open to all types of dirt race cars. The racing action and championship points battle get rolling the following Saturday on March 26th with all five divisions competing.
Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 will race every Saturday night through September 17th with the exception of July 9th which is an off weekend at the track. The first big special event will be on Saturday, April 30th when the World of Outlaw Craftsman Sprint Car Series roars into town. The POWRi National Midget Series will also be on the card that night. Then on Saturday, May 28th, the MOWA Sprint Car Series makes their annual visit.
The UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals make their appearance on Saturday, July 2nd. The UMP DIRTcar Late Models will have an extra tough battle on their hands as the World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model Series will join in to battle for the HellTour crown at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55.
Fan Appreciation and Christmas in July for the kids is on Saturday, July 30th this year. All fans will get into the grandstands for half price. Kids will enjoy a huge Nickel Race with tons of great prizes given away.
The Ironman 55 weekend will be on August 5th and 6th. The Ironman features the World Of Oultaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and POWRi National Midget Series. On Saturday night, the Ironman 55 is a grueling 55 laps for the World of Outlaw Craftsman Sprint Car Series and has $20,000 on the line for the winner.
The MARS DIRTcar Late Model Series will battle the UMP DIRTcar Late Models on Saturday, August 27th.
