Brunswick, GA-In the makeup of the racing scheduled for Thursday at Golden Isles Speedway it was Nick Hoffman who captured his 2nd win of the Super Bowl of Racing and a $2,000 non-points win.
The morning was started with 36 Southeast Dirt Modified’s making the call for the 30 lap make up event.
In Local Race Chat time trials it would be Hoffman making his presence known early with a pole time of 17.193.
In Heat Race Action it would be Hoffman capturing the first heat race win. Cody Parker, Kyle Strickler and Jason Beaulieu rounding out the heat race winners. Brian Shaw & Tyler Evans would win the two consolation races to set the 22 car starting field.
In the Octane Race Products feature it would be Cody Parker jumping to the early lead with Hoffman & Strickland following closely. Parker would eventually fade while Hoffman & Strickler would run 1-2 for the majority of the race. Hoffman was able to hold his advantage despite numerous restarts.
The Southeast Dirt Modified Series is scheduled for a 40 lap, $4,000 to win race Saturday night at Golden Isles Speedway.
