MARS BEGINS 2016 AT CLARKSVILLE

Republic, MO February 29, 2016 – The MARS DIRTcar Series opening race weekend will be held at Clarksville, Tennessee on March 4th and 5th. The annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic will showcase some of the best local drivers from around the area. The March 4th feature will pay $3,000 to win and the March 5th race will pay $5,000 to the winner. www.clarksvillespeedway.com

Lebanon, Missouri native Tony Jackson, Jr. will look for his fourth consecutive MARS point’s title. Galena, Missouri native Jesse Stovall has a total of 20 career MARS victories and looks to rebound from a fourth place finish in 2015 points. Many other local drivers will look to the 1/4 mile clay oval to begin their season.

MARS will return to Missouri on March 19th at Springfield Raceway for one of three races at the track. MARS has 12 races in the state of Missouri this season, with many new tracks filling the rest of the schedule. For a full look of the schedule, check out www.marsracingseries.com.
