BROWNSTOWN, IL – Charlie Depew, Fayette County Speedway promoter, recently announced the track is moving to a predominately Saturday evening program for the 2016 season. The 2016 Schedule includes racing programs most Saturday evenings April through August, a few Friday night events on the schedule, and a multi-day event in September 29-October 1.
The Season Opener is scheduled for Saturday, April 9 (weather permitting). For 2016 regular shows, pit and grandstand gates will open at 4:30 p.m., hot laps will begin at 6:30 p.m., with racing immediately following hot laps. Regular nightly classes are UMP sanctioned and include Modifieds, Sport Mods, Street Stocks, and Hornets.
