Nostalgia drag racing, hot rod custom car show, pin-up girl contest, rockabilly bands, burn-out contest
May 10, 2016, St. Louis Region – The fourth annual St. Louis Nostalgia Rendezvous will take place May 12-13, 2017 at the Gateway Motorsports Park Dragplex. The popular throwback event will feature nostalgia drag racing (including Nostalgia Funny Cars), a pin-up girl contest, a traditional custom car and hot rod show (nothing newer than 1972), a burn-out contest and rockabilly bands.
All-nostalgia drag racing will include:Nitro Nostalgia Funny Car exhibitions, the Nostalgia Gassers Racing Association, the Great Lakes Funny Car Association, the Nostalgia Drag Racing League, the Victory Nostalgia Super Stocks Series, the Ozark Mountain Super Shifters and bracket racing for 1979-and-older vehicles.
For those who like to smoke their own, a burn-out contest will be held after the car show.
The pin-up girl contest will be open to ladies 18 and older.
The traditional hot rod and custom car show is open to cars 1972-and-older, including rat rods, traditional customs and lead sleds, choppers, hot rods and bone-stock autos.
The band schedule will be released at a later date.
