Hello to all the Race Fans out there! This is your Race Recap for the July 8th race at St. Francois County Raceway. This Recap is sponsored by Hoosier Racing Tire. As always, St. Francois County Raceway has something special for the night of racing. This week there were plenty of weekly giveaways for the night but that was not the only special event. The A-Modifieds had a few extras added to their night of racing. The first was a Double Points Night for the entire A-Modified field. On top of that, the winner of the 20 lap A-Modified main event received an extra $100 payout and the driver that won the BSB Go Fast Award for the A-Modifieds received an extra $50. Now time to get into what happened throughout the night of racing.

Up first for the night was the Super Streets class. There were 16 Super Streets in attendance divided into two heat races. The first heat race had eight cars take the green flag with the pole setter Kevin Mosier taking the early lead and checking out for the win in his number 40 car. Second place went to the 21w car of Brad Callahan after a battle with the third place finisher Josh Ramer in the 269 car.

Heat race number two also had eight cars take the green flag. Picking up the checkered flag, from the third starting position, was the 70 car of Mark Crady. Second place went to Jason Neel in the 94n car from the sixth starting position with Tony Wyatt finishing in third place in the 67 car.

The main event was a 15 lap action packed race to the finish with the 99 car of Chuck Adams picking up the win after starting seventh on the field. Second place went to the 94n car of Jason Neel. Finishing in third place was the BSB Manufacturing Go Fast Award Winner on the night for the Super Street class Travis Goodman in the 76 car for passing eight cars. Fourth place went to the 67 car of Tony Wyatt with Mark Crady finishing in fifth place in the 70 car.

Jeremy Greenwalt finished in fourth place in the 18x which was enough to pick up the BSB Manufacturing Go Fast Award for the night after passing six cars. Bringing his car across the finish line in fifth place was the 26j car of Jeff Frohwitter.

Running third was the Sprint Car class. There were 21 Sprint Cars in attendance divided into three heat races.
