Jack Sullivan Returns to COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Victory Lane
Jim Kuntz Classic Up Next on August 4 at I-30 Speedway

West Plains, Missouri (07/28/18) – Three-time and defending COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) champion and current Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man Jack Sullivan raced to his fifth tour victory of 2018 on Saturday night at Legit Speedway.

Sullivan made a clean sweep of the program by setting fast time in MSR Mafia Time Trials, winning his heat race, and then leading all 40 laps of the finale to snag the $3,000 victory.

Sullivan extended his advantage atop the points with his 29^th career win, which is most all-time with the series.

Billy Moyer Jr. advanced from his third-starting position to finish second with Payton Looney, Scott Crigler and Hunter Rasdon completing the Top-5 finishers.

Gavin Landers received the Henryetta Ford Hard Luck Award after sustaining heavy damage in his heat race when he jumped the cushion. He was then collected in a pair of wrecks in the feature

Kaleb Stolba claimed the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award for passing nine cars to finish eighth.

The tour now turns its attention to the annual Jim Kuntz Classic, which will be held Saturday, August 4 at Tracey Clay’s I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas). The night pays tribute to legendary Arkansas engine builder and racing support Jim Kuntz and posts a $3,000 top prize.
