Mittler Bros. Machine & Tool To Again Honor Top MLRA Crew Chiefs

Wheatland, Missouri (February 6, 2019) – As the start of the upcoming 2019 Lucas Oil MLRA season continues to edge towards the starting line, series officials are excited to announce the return of Mittler Bros. Machine & Tool to their line-up of contingency supporters.

Mittler Bros. Machine & Tool will continue their series contingency support by selecting a Crew Chief of the Race at each MLRA event. To show their appreciation towards the skilled mechanics behind the top teams in the series, they will also present the Mittler Bros. Machine & Tool “Crew Chief of the Year” award at seasons end. The winner will be presented a $500 certificate from Mittler Bros. with the runner-up picking up a $250 certificate at the conclusion of the year.

Eric Barnes, Crew Chief for series runner-up Will Vaught, was the 2018 recipient leading his driver to a series high six feature victories. Gus Farmer, who guided Chad Simpson to his second MLRA series title, finished as the runner-up.

The 2019 Lucas Oil MLRA season will get underway with the running of the 6th Annual MLRA Spring Nationals Presented by RacingJunk.com on April 12th & 13th at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. Both nights will feature complete shows for the super late model stars each paying $3,000 to win, as drivers try to get an early jump on the season point battle.
