Billy Moyer won his second-straight COMP Cams Super Dirt Series feature on Saturday night. He’s joined in Victory Lane by runner-up Robert Baker (right) and third-place finish Kyle Beard (left).

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer, of Batesville, Arkansas, dominated the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series visit to Legit Speedway Park in West Plains, Missouri on Saturday night, April 20 to land in victory lane for the 839th time in his illustrious Hall of Fame career! Wheeling a new Black Diamond Chassis, Billy knocked down the quickest lap overall of the 29 entrants during qualifying at the former West Plains Motor Speedway and later won his heat race to earn the pole position for the 40-lap contest.

Billy then jumped out to the early race lead and paced the field for each and every circuit during the caution-free affair to pocket the $3,000 winner’s check well ahead of Robert Baker, Kyle Beard, Raymond Merrill, and Scott Crigler. The popular driver known as “Mr. Smooth” cruised to the 9.572-second victory for his second consecutive CCSDS triumph! Full results from Legit Speedway Park can be located online by clicking on www.compdirt.com.

Due to a sponsorship commitment, the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team is slated to take the upcoming April 26-27 weekend off from racing competition. Next up on the racing calendar for the team will be a COMP Cams Super Dirt Series double-dip on May 3-4 in the states of Texas and Louisiana. Timberline Speedway in Corley, Texas will kick off the weekend next Friday with a $3,000 to win shootout, while the annual ‘Pelican 50’ will go off next Saturday at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana with a $4,000 payday up for grabs.
