Eldon, MO (June 1, 2019) – What started out as a beautiful Saturday night at Lake Ozark Speedway ended prematurely as heavy thunderstorms rolled in just prior to the beginning of the 40 lap Lucas Oil MLRA “Show Down at The Lake”. Race officials halted the evenings action until the rain had passed and re-evaluated track conditions but determined at that point that it would not be possible to get the racing surface back into a shape.

Series officials made the difficult determination to call the event complete with no make-up scheduled. Drivers will receive their heat race points earned from qualifying action along with standard MLRA show-up points, however no feature points will be awarded. Full payout was issued based on the drivers starting position with Will Vaught collecting the $3,000 top prize.

A duo of new venues now awaits the MLRA on Friday night June 14th, as the series takes to the 1/3-mile Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, WI. Friday nights action will lead up to the series inaugural event at the Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday the 15th for the second $3,000 event on the weekend.
