Makes Debut with Scott Bloomquist Racing this Weekend at Fairbury

Mooresville, North Carolina (07/26/21) – Another record now belongs to Nick Hoffman. On the heels of two wins last week in Summit Racing Equipment Modified Series action, Hoffman is now the all-time winningest driver with 55 triumphs.

He now has 17 series win this year and 29 total victories overall in his Elite Chassis No. 2 Wehrs Machine / Fox Shocks Modified.

“It’s pretty cool to top the all-time Summit Modified Nationals win list. We’ll be looking to add another one to the count this weekend at Fairbury (Speedway). We’ve now won 29 races in 10 different states this year, which is also something we’re proud to have done,” Hoffman said. “Thanks to all of my sponsors and supporters. It would not be possible without you. I am living out a dream.

“Along the lines of dreams I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to pilot an entry for Scott Bloomquist Racing this weekend at the Prairie Dirt Classic. Truly a dream come true.”

Nick Hoffman returned to the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals grind on Friday night with a trip to Tri-City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Ill.). With 35 DIRTcar UMP Modifieds entered, Hoffman qualified third fastest in his group before winning his heat race.

Nick received the third-starting spot for the feature and advanced to a runner-up finish behind race winner, Mike Harrison with Dylan Shap, Dean Hoffman, and Mike McKinney rounding out the Top-5 finishers.

On Saturday night Nick tackled the 1/4-mile confines of Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway. After qualifying fourth fastest in the 20-car field, Nick won his heat race. He drew the outside-front-row starting spot for the 25-lap feature. Taking advantage of his starting position Hoffman raced to his 16th-series win of the year and 54th of his career. The triumph was his 28th overall of the season.

Trent Young, Hunt Gossum, Lucas Lee, and Zac Harris completed the Top 5.

Hoffman rounded out his weekend on Sunday night with his 29th victory of the year, which came at Richmond (Ky.) Raceway. Hoffman broke out the broom and swept the program by setting fast time over the 21-car field, winning his heat race, and ultimately the feature. He was followed across the finish line by Victor Lee, Dennis Roberson, Tommy Sheppard Jr., and Tyler Nicely.

With the win, which marked the 17th series win of the year and 55th of his career, he became the all-time Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals win leader.

Nick Hoffman will thunder into one of his favorite tracks this weekend, where he’ll enter both the World of Outlaws (WoO) Morton Buildings Late Model Series and Modified portion of the 31st annual Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway.

In Super Late Model competition, Nick will be behind the wheel of the Scott Bloomquist Racing No. 0 as he competes in one-of-four $3,000-to-win prelim events on Friday night before chasing the $50,000 top prize in Saturday night’s mega finale.

Additionally, the weekend finds the Modified field divided into four $500-To-Win prelim features on Friday before seeing a $5,000-To-Win finale on Saturday and is part of the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals.
