Sturgis Streeter of Topeka, Kansas began the 35-lap big-money B-Mod race from pole position alongside Urbana’s Colson Kirk. In some of the closest racing seen all season, Kirk darted to the front with Streeter, Jon Sheets, and Jake Richards in tow. The leaders set a blistering pace at the front of the field with Sheets searching for a way in front of Kirk by lap five. Behind the leaders, Richards, Streeter, and Mitchell Franklin raced in the top five. The race pace remained intense and close through lap 20 as Sheets stalked Kirk out front. Meanwhile, eighth-starting Shadren Turner moved inside the top five. Sheets put heavy pressure on Kirk by lap 22 as the two drivers battled for the win. The race featured 30 straight laps of green-flag racing before caution fell over the field. Kirk and Sheets resumed their close action at the front of the field right to the checkered flag with Richards, Turner, and sixteenth-starting Terry Schultz inside the top five. Despite pulling side-by-side with Kirk, Sheets could not complete the pass for the lead as Kirk emerged the apparent winner over Sheets, Richards, and Turner. However, during post-race technical inspection, the entire top four was disqualified from the finish for various rules infractions. When the official finish was revised and re-posted, Terry Schultz was declared the official winner with Brad Smith second, Streeter third, Colin Pierce fourth, Jacob Ebert fifth and Mulich sixth.
