I was surprised to see "Ding Dong" Korte pull off after the incident. Trust me, isn't wasn't for good sportmanship, it was because he new he didn't have a chance to win and might as well save his car. Korte and sportsmanship does not go together at all...come on people.

i must agree with DIRTY TRUTH!!! Ding Dong thinks he has a big head.He really in all truth doesnt care about his fans except for the money he brings in from merchindise. i am not a ding dong fan but i buy a car for my son everyweek and Fri he wanted a ding dong car. we had pit passes and he wanted to get his autograph on the car. we got to his trailer and stood there for a good 15 mins. while he sat there and bull shi*** with his crew and looked at me and my son 2 times. i left. Hey KORTE if u read this thanks DICK for making me look like a as*hole threw the pits while my 8 yr old cried for 10 mins. thats alright though. we went to rays trailer and he came over quick signed his shirt and even went back into the trailer and brought him a coolie. thats sad but the truth. and to know that ray works his as* off everyday at his shop so he can make it to every race on FRI & SAT for his fans is awesome. While DING DONG KORTE has everything handed to him like a king and most of the time just has to get to the track hes racing at and jump in his car and race. SO KORTE FANS KEEP BEING FANS AND STICK UP FOR HIM BUT WE ALL KNOW THE TRUTH (HES A BIG HEADED DIC*)

I'm just a fan, but I have spoken with Randy in the pits several times. He's always been good to me. Even on bad nights I've never experienced anything bad from him.
The fact is this. If he wasn't so gosh darn good, you wouldn't care enough to hate the guy. By hating on him, you openly admit that he's great.
Suspension? How many punches did Korte throw? How many did Ray throw? That should answer the question of who should or should not get suspended or be placed on probation. Wrecks happen. Unless a guy goes all Jimmy Mars at the 2008 Firecracker and uses his car as a spear (seriously, he speared Blankenship), you can't suspend a guy for a wreck. Whether it might have been intentional or incidental is irrelevent because it's hard to prove either. It must be 100%, no doubts about it blatant in order to suspend. The Jimmy Mars incident was totally blatant and NOBODY with a right mind would argue that. I'm not bashing Mars. Mars was prooked when Blankenship door slammed him on the backstretch. That still doesn't excuse using a car as a spear.
These guys kind of police themselves. Korte knows that the next time he's racing Ray Walsh that Ray won't hesitate to kick his butt if he races him rough. Walsh got his point across. I don't know Ray personally, but I'm sure he'd agree with me on this particular point.

That is true, he normally comes later in his SUV. The only thing he touches on the car is the steering wheel and gas pedal. No I didn't forget the brake, that he doesn't touch, he uses his front bumper to stop.

Are we talking about Larry "Lumpy" Laughery (spelling?)? I remember him in that number 4 car from years past. He was one of my favorites at Highland years ago.
im hating on him for the way he treated me and my son and the way he caused me to look like a as* in the pits cause of my son crying. i never said he couldn't wheel a car. i know he can and hes good. but dont treat my son that way. i can understand him being busy working on the car ,but bull shi**** with his crew and ignoring my 8 yr old son that just got a $15
dollar car that i bought. ITS PLAN BULLSHI* I tell u what why dont u post a thread know it all and ask everyone on here if they have ever had their kids ignored by Korte and ill bet u the post will blow up with replys. so with that said until it happens to u i dont want to hear it

Ray Walsh is far from a loser, I can tell you that. He doesn't have someone flippin the bill for everything he does and everything he tears up. Korte does. There is not doubt that Korte can drive, but does he do it clean?? Not so much, if you cant see that then you havent seen him run much. He knew he did wrong as soon as he did it. It was not a mistake, it was done purposely.
I dont understand why Korte was allowed to run the latemodel feature.. I recall several weeks ago when Mark Miner threw a fit and hit Ray Wagner under a caution in turn 4. He loaded his car up and left... Shouldn't Korte have had to do the same??? Or is he just getting his way cause he's so special??

I can only go off of my own personal experiences. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your son. Randy is NOT a personal friend of mine so I really can't say either way what kind of guy he is. I just know that my experiences with him has always been good.

my son(12) was at 00's pit following the lm race and took jeremys congrats with a little guilty look but he did acknowledge him right away. i dont understand why everyone thinks 00 should have been removed from the lm feature. it was a different race so why? even though what 00 did was wrong, why would 1w take himself out of a race, he had a chance to win, to fight? does anyone know if 1w was put to the back for the wreck or not?

I think you're missing the point here. The Korte/Walsh incident was driver error on Korte's part. It was not a blatant attempt to destroy Ray and his car. There's a big difference there.
Another thing, Ray Walsh ain't exactly Mr. Clean out there either. I'm a Ray Walsh fan, but he's as physical as anyone out there.
One more thing, how many cautions have been charged to Korte this year? Maybe 2? Rough driving tends to draw a lot of cautions. Just like rough play in hockey draws a lot of penalties or in basketball a lot of fouls. The fact is, Randy Korte hasn't even had to replace much sheet metal this year on either car. If he's been rough, it's been mostly a "gentle rough". Rubbin is racin? Oh, that's right, it's Randy Korte. Rubbin is racin does not apply when he's driving.

people, myself included feel that korte should not of been able to run the late model race, because even though he did not throw a punch, one of crew members was involved in the helmet throwing. the rule has always been that the driver is responsible for his crews actions as well and since that crew member was removed from the track, korte should of been punished as well for his crews actions. meaning he would be done for the night and not allowed to race in the feature.
