Bring the Dash back!

I have been to the races twice this year and miss it already. I think there is a business out there that would sponsor it, maybe make it a trophy dash again with only 6 cars. It kinda got outta hand with 9 cars in the dash. It should be the Heat race winner and then the go by passing points, the heat winner should never be left out of the dash, I remember a few years ago Ray Walsh won his heat then had to start 10th in the feature, thats not right.This I think would make a better show. Just my opinion!

If you are talking Belle-Clair I agree I miss the trophy dash. However there just isn’t enough time with the curfew to add five more races to the program.

Real simple, xx # of points for position you finish in + 1 1/2points for every car you pass.

I believe the scorers know how to do passing points since they have been doing them for years at Pevely.

passing points are silly. if you are going to use passing points in the heat races, why not use them for the features too? then you can determine the finishing order of the features long after the race is over. never understood why the actual finishing results of heat races dont matter to passing point supporters, but then they do for features?

I actually like how things are set up now. I go to church on Sunday mornings. With I-55 getting done sooner, I'm able to get a decent amount of sleep before going to church the next morning.

this thread is getting a little off subject with the whole church thing. Long story short it is a better program with the dashs, and i dont wana hear about the time thing because they've been running dashes for a long time b4 this year. jmo Bring em back.

yeah i totally agree with CG3518 bring back the dashes some of the best racing of the night when they had them i just thank there taking racing from us and doing that dice thang they need 2 put that in trash and bring he dashes back just my opion

You have to remember by cutting the dashes they save money by not paying out. They didn't raise the pay and didn't add any laps to the heats or feature. Sportsmans that don't run the semi get a slim 23 laps each night.

Passing points are great and very simple to comprehend in my opinion.

Passing points are useless they are for the allied golden boys that if they have a fast car and they draw a bad pill God forbid then their asses are covered highland and other tracks get by just fine without the gay passing points!
