I did not realize we still had a forum page so I just now read your post...the pony belongs to some people that live near the track and asked if they could keep him there. The track will not reopen at least by us. We are selling the property.

The Fredericktown Raceway Awards Banquet will be held January 30th, 1pm at Rosener's Restaurant in Park Hills, same as last year....the cost of the buffet is $9.65 plus tax. We will award trophies to the top five points champions in each class: Modifieds, Pure Street, Pro 4, Jr Pro 4 and Karts.

The Fredericktown Raceway will not open for the 2011 season due to the time involved in recovery and rehab after surgery, both physically and financially for Curley. We have decided not to open and try to take advantage of this time to finish some of the ongoing remodeling and lighting projects...

This coming from a man that doesn't race at this track. Who does work for the city and claims to be Christian. You're mad because we dropped your class, that averaged 6 or 7 cars last year. It was a financial decision.

Not everybody lives 1 mile from the track. Some drive hours. The forecast for our area was for severe thunderstorms until 8pm. It is a very tough call to make. Do you honestly think that we don't want to race. We have to pay insurance every week whether we race or not. We also to prep the...

By the way our grandstand crowd is down by 100 and also concessions are down. Gas has got everybody down.

You don't have a clue. When you buy a track let me know how it goes. I have to keep taking money from my home to keep this going

Yes, that's the situation. All money that comes in the pit window, stays in the pit box for payout. And there is never enough to cover the payout. Adjustments have to be made.

I beleive it depends on the car count. But might want to check with Al or Curley
