I did not realize we still had a forum page so I just now read your post...the pony belongs to some people that live near the track and asked if they could keep him there. The track will not reopen at least by us. We are selling the property.
The Fredericktown Raceway Awards Banquet will be held January 30th, 1pm at Rosener's Restaurant in Park Hills, same as last year....the cost of the buffet is $9.65 plus tax. We will award trophies to the top five points champions in each class: Modifieds, Pure Street, Pro 4, Jr Pro 4 and Karts.

It seems to me that some people need to take a basic math course to understand about how a business works. In order for a business to survive you need to take in a little more money than you pay out. In our case it's just the opposite. We constantly pay out more than we take in.

Yes, that's the situation. All money that comes in the pit window, stays in the pit box for payout. And there is never enough to cover the payout. Adjustments have to be made.
