I have a friend that is looking for a monett speedway style pro4. They are like a miniature latemodels with a wheel base between 88"-110" or something close to that, an are rwd. If anyone has or knows where to get a rolling chassis new or used, shoot me a text @(573)315-1360
There's not alot of tracks left running the class, but if you want to run with all rwd vehicles, look into getting with the ministock class. Doe run races them and i think Malden runs them
Unless you are running a completely dry rotted tire, there isn't a safety issue. I have a video (if my computer would let me get it off my camera) where a jr pro4 with avenger tires was handling and cornering just a good as a full blown mini stock. The only safety issue I see is they need to...
The whole thing with the racing tire issue, granted I'm not he brightest in the shed, the main split between pro4 and mini stocks= the mini stock class allows racing tires and pro4 call for dot tires. If the pro4 started to run racing tires, you might as split the class into mini stocks and...
They do have a 4cyl class that runs racing tires called the mini stock class. And as far as cost, you can pick them up used from other classes for little or nothing.
My theory on the whole situation is that if you don't like who's winning, or don't like how a track runs it's show, then don't go watch. Because of people making threads like this one, alot of tracks loose potential cars and fans. I'm impressed how hard all the officials work to make a good show...
Just wanted to say thanks for letting the mini stocks race at the track tonight. I was hoping for a better car count, and better luck, but it was a great place to run. This is a great track to go and watch all racing action and was very impressed at all of the features after I got to sit and watch.
This coming Friday at fredericktown raceway, they are letting us run a special one night show with an added $150 to the winner on top of what the class brings to the pits. Hope to see a good car count and some new faces to run this Friday
I can't lie to you, the biggest that has been in the pits so far are 33s and they dissapeared. Show up with 38s and try it out is bout all I can say. If I remember right my bro told me he has a money pit dug out, a pit for bigger trucks, and one for stock trucks. What's the worst that can...
Wasn't sure, I know I've seen them for sale with coil overs and secret motors. If that was legal, then I was gonna put street tires on and try i55 a few times this year, but nothing looks stock on my car to others
