According to an article in this mornings Centralia Sentinel they WILL BE OPEN in 2007. A quote from Rick in the article says "We're not closing. We've just got two more races to hold this season" . Also quotes Rick as saying the "reports of the (track) closing permanently are false." SO WHICH...

My parents loaded five kids into the back of the family station wagon and headed to the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City Kansas in the early 60's. Cost less then 20 bucks for a family of seven including trips to the refreshment stand.
