Yes, please, please, PLEASE let us have a bonfire. That was so much fun a few years ago when we had the one in the infield after the races.

I think it has more to do with whether the main flagman is watching the cone more than who you are, and as we all know...he can't be watching everything.

As far as the fire being closer to Tommy...I believe it was built on the concrete pad that the sprints can change tires on during races. I could be wrong...but I believe that's where it was. And you are correct...burning tires is against the law. Shame on them.

I don't believe there is an age limit in the pits...for any race. However, you do have to pay full price once kids reach a certain age, but I'm not sure what that age is.

Does this mean we are going to have to clean up and stuff?...I'd hate for people to think we are just a bunch of beer drinking hillbilly's...hahaha.

Totally agree about the lap counter...perhaps we should just start it's very own thread...I'm sure some one would alert the owners... Actually, I think it's a conspiracy.... ;-)
